Foundation To Fitness

Our bodies are amazing Instruments. They are self-regulating, self-regenerating works of art. When nurtured and utilized properly, they will serve you well all of your life defending against pollutants and disease. However, they respond to all stimuli without preference. Therefore, inhibition and misuse of our bodily processes will just as easily lead to disease. It is our responsibility to ensure our bodies are receiving the right kind of stimuli.

 

Below are the 5 necessary physical stimuli of the human body. To maintain optimal health, each of these needs must be fulfilled properly and adequately:

 

  1. movement
  2. respiration
  3. hydration
  4. nutrition
  5. rest
